Help for Behaviour Challenges in Children

In some homes, things are stressful. The parents are exhausted and the kids are driving them nuts! This can happen for many different reasons, but somehow, the kids just seem to be in charge and .... it is getting worse!

At   Enable OT we work with situations at all ends of range of challenge - whether that be a 'little bit' going wrong ("just needing some tweaking so things don't get worse") or things are scarily bad that lives, livelihoods and sanity are seriously in jeopardy ("She smashes the house and goes to hurt her baby brother when all I asked was that she put her socks in the washing. I don't know what to do. I can't take it any more".)

We give the practical help to restore/establish a household that is worth living in - for all. We approach the task of bringing order-out-of-chaos from years worth of experience born of clinical expertise and years of person experience - with therapists who have lived with kids like this through fostering and student hosting. Some of our Occupational Therapists have been there and can help!
